Entry 42, May 13

I cannot wait for school to be done with. It will be such a relief not to have any homework. I think we have about 2 more weeks left, but I ca't help thinking it' going to end up being three. Thanks to Brooke, Kayla, and Myranda, I am now noticing the creaking noise Brooke is making with her desk unintentionally. I have run out of thoughts to write about... Oh! I think I might try to finish Eragon this weekend, just because, well, I'm not sure why. I gues it's becoming a little more exciting than it was before, but I also want to be done with it. It's taken me too long, but then again, I'd rather do other things than read. I thi nkone of the major turn-offs for me is that if I start to read it, I won't really put it down if it's a good book, and then there goes my whole day... yay. I like having time to myself, although now that I think about it I spend a lot of time doing nothing really.

May 11, Entry 41

Well, I am soooo ready for school to be over with. But I will be a little disappointed to not have my laptop anymore, since I’ve been working on something with some friends for a while. It’s a concept of a video game I thought of. So far Noah, Tyler, and a friend named Ian are the other people working on it. It’s really early, and last night we kinda sketched out the main plot, and began with the start of the game. It’s a RPG set in a fantasy world. You create your character, and somewhere near the beginning you find a “beast” that you have with you throughout the game. You choose one of four species, and each of those have 2 subspecies. The species are: Dragons, Avians (some sort of giant bird), Warg (giant canine or feline), and Griffins. You also have a primary element that you choose at the beginning. It really just boosts the power and effectiveness of equipment of that element. There are eight different elements: Dark, Light, Fire, Ice, Water, Earth, Thunder, and Wind. You can still use weapons and armor of different elements than your primary element, though. The gameplay is a turn-based fighting system, which we haven’t really thought about so far.

Entry 38, April 15

I have 17--wait--16 more minutes left of battery power left on this laptop. Oh, great, now it changed to 21. And now it 35. Make up your mind! . . . 36. . . I doubt you have ever even heard of it, but there's this funny internet machinima of Halo called Red vs. Blue. I've just recently began to watch them, but I had seen a few of them before that. They're funny. So far I'm almost done with season 2, which is pretty awesome. There are about 20 episodes in each season that i've seen, so I figure that's how many are in the rest. Episodes don't have a set time, sometimes they're short, other times they're long, but usually they are about 4 minutes. They are hilarious. A quote that I intercahnge with Tyler and Clayton is Agent Washington: "Worst. Grenade throw. Ever. . . Of all time." Caboose:"Not my fault. Somebody put a wall in my way." Oh how i love Caboose. He is such an idiot. another favorite quote of mine is "This sounds like a retarded Mexican sasquatch!"

Alright! Distracting Mrs. Strand. Good day. I think this is going to be a good period. Right now Mrs. Strand is attempting to hit Tom... with a flower. Apparently they misspelled Brooke's name on her looptap. I think I may call her pickle now, because it rhymes with her last name. Pretty good day, maybe going to Tyler's house after school. That'll be fun. It should work out nice because Clayton can't give me a ride home anyway. He has to work on a display shelf for FFA. I have the piano man stuck in my head now. Mr. Vaupel played it during art, and he quoted the first line of it, which is something like 9 o'clock on a Saturday I think. It was weird because I thought he was talking to me, but then the lyrics started to play on the song, so I was lost no more.

Entry 36, March 30

After what seems like ten minutes of waiting for my computer to load, it finally worked. Now I'm thinking about summer and what joy and happiness no school will bring to me. I really don't have any major plans, except for our annual fishing trip in Minnesota. For once though, Id like to go on a real vacation somewhere else, which we're supposedly supposed to go on a cruise next winter, but I'm a little unsure on how solid that is. I do hope that we go. It would be awesome. It would be the first time I've been to the ocean, or much less a state not touching Iowa (except for Indiana). Oh well, that wil have to wait. For now I get to think about going outside and finding an awesome spot by the creek. It's just really fun exploring places in the woods, expecially down by the creek.

Ninja is the new big thing here. As you know it's a fun game where you hit your friends in the arm. Haha, very logical, huh. But despite it being somewhat painful, it somehow keeps you coming back for more. I really don't know why it's such a fun game, but it is. It must be that competitiveness inside everyone that makes them want to keep going. I think it's funny how it became such a big hit. I myself learned of it at the variety show, but I think it spawned in at a speech thing. Speaking of the variety show, it was a fun but stressful night. Tyler and I worked on the stage crew, but it seemed as if we were the only ones doing it. Tat actually really surprised me, since I usually try to slack off (notice how I said TRY) but this time it was really me and Ty doing all the work. 3 other people were supposed to be up there, but I'm still unsure of where they were at the entire night. Seldom did I see them, and that was only when I contacted them myself and told them to "do this for a scene" or something. Grr, that really kinda made me mad. They possibly could have been outside the door directing people to where they need to be, but I doubt that. Clayton and I ordered some games through the internet a while ago, and they came yesterday. We played them for a while, and they're pretty fun. They're two different Mortal Kombat games. Clayton got a little obsessed with that a little bit.

Entry 34, March 11

Well, promise says I'm always serious. I understand her, but it's not because I'm serious all the time. I just don't laugh at everything, and my emotions usually don't last that long. Anyways, I'm going to continue at what I was writing about last time. Through those fighting countries another World War will happen. This will cause nuclear warfare, and the world will fall into a continuous hole filled with war, hate, and zombies, thus causing the end of all things. I can't remember my other suggestions of apocalyptic things, but another one I bet would be something like the Nazis only successful, or a giant disease outbreak. I still don't really believe that there will be an end of the world, but it's still fun to think about. In the meantime I'll try to enjoy life as much as I can, even thought some of it may be hard, boring, or annoying. Monica just made me laugh. I don't think she really meant to, but she pulled her laptop closer to her as you (Mrs. Strand) walked toward her. I think she was really just trying to get more comfortable.
